Sergey Gikalo

Sergey Georgievich Gikalo is a Russian architect and a member of the Union of Architects of Russia since 2006. He graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute in 1997, and from 1996 to 1997, he interned at the School of Architecture, Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.

Since 2007 until 2024, he and Alexander Kuptsov have co-directed Gikalo Kuptsov Architects, whose portfolio includes residential buildings, interiors, public spaces, and conceptual projects in Russia and abroad. The firm's projects are regularly recognized at Russian and international architectural competitions and exhibitions.

Gikalo Kuptsov Architects has completed a number of notable projects in private and public architecture, including VILLA E in Kamchatka, the Okeanrybflot Museum, and the Astana Business Center. The firm's work has received Russian and international architectural awards.
